The Association of Property Finders and Buyers Agents is launching a major initiative with its members and partners to promote professional representation for property buyers in the UK and to raise the awareness amongst consumers of the benefits of using buyers agents.

The three key aims of the Buyer Representation Initiative

1.     For estate agents to be duty bound to inform buyers who enquire on any of their properties that a buyers representation service is available and how to find a buyers agent (either via the APFBA or the directory of buyers agents)

2.     For online property portals and any service that markets or displays property particulars to make it clear to consumers that buyers representation is available and how to find a buyers agent.

3.     A Buyers Agent service to be available nationwide for everyone, at any level of house value they plan to purchase.
